And she called his name Moses, and said, Because I drew him out of the water. Exodus 2.10.
Three months after he was born, Moses was placed in the water. He was later pulled out of the water by the daughter of Pharaoh who adopted him as her son. Hence the name was give to him of “Moses”—which means “the drawing out of water.” He was the first one drawn out.
Later on the multitudes of the children of Israel would follow in his train by being drawn out themselves (the Red Sea experience). In the wilderness God dealt with Moses first, and then in the same wilderness He dealt with the children of Israel after they had been led out of Egypt by Moses.
Unless we are delivered, we cannot expect other people to be delivered. If we do not have vision, how can we expect others to see God’s way? Today God wishes to deal with us first. And after He has gotten some of us, we can then expect to gain other people.
The call of God is peculiar, it is an assignment only you can do! a lot of believer today, usually point out valid reasons, why the lord cannot use them. The very reasons they think, God cannot use them is the very reason the lord wants to use them.
God will first and foremost take the set man through everything the people, he wants to lead will ever face. It is a training! never complaining about the happenings around your life. It is the calling beloved
